standing tall as a eucalyptus tree in parque nacional

¡Buenas! It's been a while since my last post. Since pictures speak louder than words, I'll attach a few.

In the meantime, I've been to the classrooms and beaches of Santa Marta with part of the choral team from Batuta, and I've been to the fresh markets of Bogotá with handmade everything- hammocks, jewelry and colorful woven bags (Gram- you would love them), and enjoyed many incredible meals of home cooked food (best: lettuce wraps, fresh grouper with honey/green olive glaze, fresh spinach- cheese-egg dish, plus I can't forget the great strawberry flan, maracuja filled eclaire, and fresh fruit juices, and soup with corn, chicken, avocado, potatoes and wait for it, fresh cream and capers), and had fun with so many new friends, who are beginning to feel old already.

Don't hold me to it, but I'll try to post 30 pictures in 30 days- of my life here in Bogotá. Shine on.
